Sunnyside Creche End-of-Year Christmas Patry was held on 4 December 2008 at the community hall in Murchison. Two Tunics sponsored the event providing food, small gifts for children and certificates. The preschool children were given award certificates and graduation certificates for those going on to Grade R (kindergarten) next year.

In mid December Ebenezer Church contacted us through our partner Project Positive Ray wanting to bring presents and food for a Christmas party for needy children. Most of ther creches we support had closed for the holidays but Sunnyside Creche was still running. Busi had about 20 children that would definitely be blessed by a Christmas party without all the speaches and foraml program. We aranged to use a local church in Murchison as well as transportation for the children and 3 caregivers. Robinsweated through some games and dancing while waiting for the team from Ebenezer church to arrive with the food and present. At the end of the day both the children and the visitors were very happy.
