Two Tunics support includes:

  • Pre-School equipment and toys  
  • Food assistance for daily feeding of children
  • To provide a better creche facility
  • Fortified porridge daily supplied by our partner Food 4 Africa

Update - 30 October 2009
Once again God has amazed us. All the funding needed for the building has benn provided and the work is nearly complete. Also this last week a team from Grace Chruch in St Louis visited the area. A part of the construction team spent a day adding a large veranda to the front of the building and the group of ladies spent 2 days helping at the creche and doing some Home Based Care Visits with Busi. We thank God for all those who have blessed and encouraged Busi and Lindiwe in their important work in the Murchison community.

Update - 21 July 2009
Busi is openly HIV positive and was using her home to house the crèche. She saw a need for care of HIV positive homeless women as well and has begun caring for some in her home. She needed a new space for the crèche and recently put up a shack to house the crèche. We have made a commitment to Busi to help her build a proper crèche building. We have received some but need to raise addtional funds  to complete the building. We are trusting God for what is needed to complete it.

The foundation has been laid for the new building.  Since this photo was taken the walls have been completed halfway up and windows are going in.  Busi and Lindiwe are so excited they have had trouble sleeping at night!
