The Year End/Christmas Party for Sinothando Creche was held on 6 Dec 2008 at the Gamalakhe Baptist Church. Two Tunics sponsored the event and provided food, small gifts for the children and certificates of award and graduation.

About a week before Christmas a group of women from Port Shepstone contacted us wanting to give a Christmas party with gifts and a cake for needy children. Although we had had one "formal" party for the creche, we knew another one would be and additional blessing for the children who have so little at Christmas. We arranged with Nomapasika to have a party at her creche. We brought chairs, TV trays, portable gazebo and crafts for the kids. Our visitors brought gifts, cake and packet of goodies for the children. The kids had a great time and it was a blessing for all of us.   All the kids received a Christmaspresent and a bag of treats.
