Zion Tabernacle Church - Merlewood
(Two Tunics project enrollment date: April 2008)

Pastor Donna and Ranjith Seepersad started the creche at their church in Merlewood on the outskirts of Port Shepstone. It caters to the 2-4 year olds that are not accepted at another larger creche facility. The picture show some of the children in the knitted blankets and jerseys donated by members of a nearby church.

Two Tunics support includes:

• Kitchen equipment
• Security fencing
• Food assistance with daily feeding

When the Northview Bible Church South Africa Mission Team visited Two Tunics they helped put up security fencing so the children can play outside safely. They also donated and delivered a new refrigerator/freezer to the church for use by the creche.

Update - 18 April 2009
Unfortunately the Eden Gardens Creche closed its doors the end of March 2009. Pastor Ranjith and Donna took a new pastorate in Pietermaritzburg and have left the Zion Tabernacle Church. We at Two Tunics wish them God's blessings as they go. We have obtained much of the equipment from the creche and it will be distributed to some of the other creches we support.
