Jesus Christ Cares Ministry

Apostolic Faith Mission Church - Holy Cross, Eastern Cape
Two Tunics project enrollment date: October 2008 (scroll down for updates)

This is Two Tunics' only supported project that is outside the Ugu District of KwaZulu-Natal. The ministry was started by Cornelia Mgaga the mother of Two Tunics "Communities for Kids" Projects Manager, Onnie Mgaga. The project is run out of their home in the village of Holy Cross in Eastern Cape, about 3 hours drive from Port Shepstone. This area is an area of extreme poverty and there are many very needy orphans in the community.

JCC Ministry is an after school feeding program that is currently feeding about 37 orphans and needy children breakfast and lunch 3 days a week. Obviously, as the name of the ministry makes clear, they are intentional about teaching the children about God's love for them and the gospel of His Son, Jesus Christ. They also collect donations of clothing and school supplies for the children.
